2012 Summer Programs
The "SUMMER Z-CLUB" Training Program - NEW
Veteran Instructors Nathan Stillwell and Joe Knudsen and a staff of current collegiate players present an exciting new summer program guaranteed to help all current and future TRAVEL players. Plenty of repetitions and quality drill work will sharpen skills and attitude.
Current Oakland A's middle infielder Adam Rosales working with Strike Zone players....
Players will be divided into groups each day and work on the following skills....
Offense - Bunting, Hitting to all fields, Productive outs, Hitting with two strikes, Baserunning, Leadoffs and sliding
Defense - Rundowns, Double Plays, 1st and 3rd coverage, Pitcher's covering first base, Slow Rollers
Pitching - Proper Grips, Pitch Location, Off-Speed Pitches, Stretch, Pickoffs
Games will also be be played....Instructor to student ratio 5-1. This program is for the ADVANCED player.
Each participant will receive a pair of EASTON batting gloves and a Z-Club Hat.

The "SUMMER SLAM" All Skills BASEBALL Program
This outdoor speciality baseball program is a great way for players of all ages and skill levels to work on their game while enjoying the extra reps the program provides. From fielding to baserunning and everything in between, this program offers the expertise and personality that gets actual results.
In addition to daily skill development fun activities will include Home Run Derby, Radar Gun Speed testing, 4-base pickel, the weekly "All-Star" challenge, pepper, daily trivia and much much more. With the best instructor ratio ( 5-1 ) in the Chicagoland area, students are provided the individual attention that real improvement requires. The program is directed by 20 year coach and Strike Zone owner, John Fix and is run by current collegiate players and coaches that are motivated to help your player become all the he or she can be. See the difference that 20 years of development expertise in running camps makes.
This program will be held in Wilmette. All players will receive a Strike Zone hat and two batting cage coupons good at either Strike Zone location.

Joe Knudsen's "Boys of Summer" All Skills BASEBALL Program
Evanston Varsity Baseball Coach Joe Knudsen and his staff of collegiate players are excited to offer one of the finest summer baseball programs in the area.
Each session players will work on a variety of intermediate to advanced skills...including but not limited to ...baserunning, pitching from the stretch, bunting, productive outs, ect....Coach Joe has worked with hundreds and hundreds of players over the last twelve years. Don't miss this opportunity to stay sharp this summer and fall. Each session players will get the reps required to improve. Get ready for Fall Travel Tryouts and Fall Ball !
