GIRLS OF SUMMER SOFTBALL SKILLS PROGRAM


The Strike Zone is proud to have teamed up with the Winnetka Park District to offer our exciting summer softball program. Strike Zone Academy Softball Director, Amanda Carlson, serves as the head varsity girls softball coach at Evanston Township High School and brings her decades of playing and coaching experience to the diamond again for the summer of 2008. With two sessions filled with cutting edge drills, strategy and skill evaluation, the Girls of Summer will challenge all who attend. A positive and pressure-free working environment coupled with the expertise of Coach Carlson’s staff creates the winning combination your player deserves. This outdoor specialty program will cater to ALL skill levels and is run by the current high school and collegiate players that are motivated to help your player become all that she can be. Each player will receive a Strike Zone t-shirt and two free batting cage coupons good at The Strike Zone Academy in Glenview.

AROUND THE HORNE ALL SKILLS PROGRAM


This program is a great way for players of all ages to work on their skills while enjoying the extra reps the camp provides. From fielding to baserunning and everything in between, this program offers the expertise and personality that gets actual results. With an instructor to student ratio of 6-1, students are provided the individual attention that real improvement requires. This outdoor specialty program with cater to ALL skill levels and is run by former professional and collegiate players that are motivated to help your player become all that he can be. See the difference that 15 years of development expertise in running camps makes. It will be held at the Skokie playfields just north of Elm and Hibbard. All players will receive a Strike Zone t-shirt and 2 batting cage coupons good at our Glenview facility!

NIKE BASEBALL CAMP

Nike Baseball Camps and The Strike Zone’s Diamond Sports Professionals have teamed up to offer an exciting opportunity for baseball players aged 8 - 12 to showcase their talent and receive instruction from the area’s finest staff. Camp Director, Phil Apostle and an all-star staff of collegiate and professional players and coaches will cover all the bases in this one-week program July 2008. Hitting, throwing, advanced baserunning, fielding and team-building concepts will al be part of the curriculum. This will be the first series offered to athletes of this age anywhere this summer and we would love to have you join us! We promise a great time and more knowledge and improvement than you can imagine! Each player will receive a Nike t-shirt and have an opportunity to win Nike prizes!
