Our goal is to build confidence in every individual player that steps foot into The Strike Zone Baseball and Softball Academy. We take great pride in our instruction and interaction with each client. We strive to promote a positive atmosphere for players, when training in our facility.

We will do all we can to help each and every individual be successful. Our goal is to make your player a better baseball or softball player...plain and simple. We've been in business since 1993. Our staff has given more lessons, camps and clinics then all the other academies in the area COMBINED.

All instructors with minimum of 5 years of professional teaching experience
Positive interactive relationship with local community baseball organizations
Over 75 former students currently playing collegiate baseball
Over 130 current students currently playing high-school baseball
Over 130 years of combined professional baseball teaching experience

About Us

Our professional staff is knowledgeable, personable, and maintains the highest standards offered anywhere in the Chicago area. While each instructor may have different specialties, we are eager to work with all skill levels. Students can expect to improve their pitching, fielding and hitting skills and have a great time doing it. Private lessons are available 7 days a week by appointment.

The area leader in private and group instruction, we are the clear choice for the aspiring player. The Strike Zone has graduated over five hundred varsity high school players and can boast dozens playing currently in the college and professional ranks.

Camps and Clinics

You can expect The Strike Zone to deliver the most versatile and complete schedule of group classes and clinics offered anywhere. Instruction can start with players as young as 4 years old. Virtually every age of player’s needs are addressed and you can count on the instruction to be age and competition appropriate!

We offer camps and clinics throughout the year, including our Winter Hitting League and Winter Break Camps. You can also take advantage of our "No School" sessions or any of our various age-specific programs. Regardless of age, skill level or season, The Strike Zone offers something for everyone.
